There's no paradox when you take into account that the polls quoted are national polls, and not polls taken in the various swing states.

Also, we must keep in mind that Putin's aim is to promote contention and chaos in our society. For that reason, Russia would support the most polarizing figure they could find among our candidates.

It's no fault of Bernie's that he might drive huge numbers of American voters into a frothing fury. Indeed, it may be a virtue. But it's a virtue he possesses in greater degree than our other candidates do.
