(31,011 posts)If she had came out and apologized for calling for Franken's resignation, that she was wrong and all that jazz, people would be heralding her for it. Saying that it took courage for her to see that she was wrong and all that. DU would be filled with post after post. I've been around her for a while and I've seen it happen more than once.
She didn't do that.
I want a candidate who is willing to stick up for what they believe is right, whether I agree with it or not. Not in the trumpian way of bullshit. But even when you know that most will stand against you, in your heart of heart, you believe it's the right thing. That's what I respect about her. She feels really strongly about this.
I think she's damned no matter what she says or does which is a real shame. She's a solid liberal with the voting record to back it up.
