(25,717 posts)Franken should have stayed there in office, and he would have done more for victims there than outside Congress. Then, later, at election time, if his voters didn't approve of what he did, despite his sorrow, they wouldn't voted him back in.
His voters should have decided what should have happened, or the Congress should have removed him if the transgression was severe enough (as they should do with anybody, although by now, I question the GOP controlled Senate on doing anything morally right on anything and everything now).
Why should we play nice anymore? Not until we see a tit for tat, and people like rump, Jordan, and all of their fellow scumbags leave their offices after abusing or ignoring others being molested, should we play nice.
