Last night on Lawrence O’Donnell’s show he interviewed Ruth Marcus - author of “Supreme Ambition”.
Blasey’s father reached out the day after the confirmation to tell Brett’s father that he was glad Brett had been confirmed. Maintaining one’s good standing in wealthy and powerful social circles matters more to him than his daughter’s trauma at the time of the attempted rape, her ongoing trauma since the event, and the trauma of coming forward to testify.
