Does anyone really believe any of the negations were in good faith? By any sides? At this point, and honestly for a long time now, expecting negotiations between those involved to bear fruit is naively optimistic. I get the desire to be hopeful, but some people you just can't reach, and once you learn that you then need to look at other options before the house burns down entirely.
