It's really sad that so many people are gullible enough to buy into the tactics described in this article. I see it as being pretty much the same as people being "brainwashed" by cult like religions. They get so angry with not having their current leaders addressing "their" agenda, that they are easily drawn into believing things, and teachings they never would have in the past. The message that the "others" are all against you is driven into their thinking, and they end up following a group, and it's leaders when they really don't know all there is to know about who is pulling the strings. They become easy prey to those who are pulling the strings, and end up alienating all their former friends and family. The Koch brothers use the same tactics, and sadly they do work.

Doom and gloom seem to work in religion and it politics!
