Quite frankly, the Fox News audience is not productive of people voting for Democrats. It's not where I'd choose to campaign if I were a Democratic candidate. I'd simply decline any invitations that media outlet sent.
The day before the Michigan primaries is a good day to do a whirlwind campaign visit. The local TV news will be out there covering those visits by Clinton and, presumably, Sanders. People do watch their local news broadcasts. Democratic voters watch them, too.
Were I Hillary Clinton, I'd be stopping in Flint again, to check on how things are going. I'd show up in several other communities, too, as a GOTV effort. I suspect that's what she'll be doing that day. She's a smart campaigner.
Bernie will be doing a "town hall" on Fox News, because he knows he's going to lose in Michigan and Fox News is a national media outlet. He's thinking about other states, I'm sure. Still, I'm not sure how many potential Democratic voters will see the broadcast. Fox News' audience is mainly older Republicans these days. They're not Bernie's constituency, I'm thinking.
Still, it's his campaign, and he hasn't asked me for any advice.
