18. I have this conflict as well

Yesterday

I hate what the MAGAs stand for, so I am not as pure and gentle as I should be.

Others here have said God understands we have negative emotions sometimes. I believe this as well.

Pray as much as you can. Jesus did say to love our enemies, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who despitefully use us.

The mere fact that you are troubled by these thoughts is a sign you have a strong sense of compassion - you're doing better than I am on some things, certainly.

I would go to Confession the next time it's offered at your church. Write down what you want to say.
