9. Can you clause the 'closing' to give you time to find something else?

Alot of times the sale/closing is dependent on the owner 'finding a new home' or some similar wording.
Can you rent it from the new buyer at least until you find something or do they intend to move in ASAP?

Or is it too late for that?
