will not be over for quite some time. I expect it to be repeated from every archdiocese in the United States. When the scale of it is fully understood, the Roman Catholic Church may find itself with no reason to exist any longer, and without most of its congregants.

This is just the beginning, and is likely to poison that denomination all over the world, as more instances emerge. As investigations continue, the scale of it is likely to grow in places where just a few priests are named.

If Jesus existed, he would surely weep at the extent of systemic predatory behavior by priests toward children.
