he did something that was actually effective. His stunt didn't work out so great. How about if he held a sign that said something like "Empower women for greatness," or "Women make us better," or "Educate women. They are our 1st teachers?" And had a program to do just that.

The purpose of rhetoric is to persuade an audience. Not turn them off.
