...and you're right, the infrastructure build-out is taking too long, despite the funding the Biden administration has made available, but the fossil fuel industry is determined to slow down the end of their business as long as they can, and they're throwing a LOT of money around to do that.

It took a while to go from horse and buggy to automobile too, but this time, the slower we go, the worse we will suffer for it in the near future.
