47. And there's always the possibility

of getting a book deal later. I went to a couple of self-publishing seminars at my local library that inspired me. One of the authors said that your book will sink like a stone unless you market because there are so many other books. I thought I was the exception and then once I uploaded it to KDP, sure enough the only copy purchased was a friend of the family. I finally gave up looking for sales and the following year when I checked back I had sold multiple copies! Turns out the name of my novel was the same as a movie that was coming out. Eventually I changed my title.
