10. The Second Life of Mirielle West by Amanda Skenandore

It’s about a married Hollywood socialite in the 1920s when she’s quarantined in a leper colony in Carville, LA. So far, it’s quite good.

I finished Welcome to Beach Town by Susan Wiggs earlier this week. Parts of it resonated as I was born and raised in a beach town, and have lived in many others throughout my life, albeit in FL not CA. It was okay, but I got tired of the description of losing oneself while surfing 🏄.

I have The Guide on my TBR list. I hope you continue to enjoy it,
