Sometimes a book will show up on more than one of these services, but not that often.

If you go to Amazon to check out the book and you have already downloaded it from them, Amazon will tell you. Sometimes I deliberately do that with a series.

These services are great because you can go into Amazon, read the sample and then decide if you want to get it.

I have discovered lots of authors and series I would not have ever known about, most of them are free or 99 cents. Occasionally I will indulge in a $1.99 book if it is part of a series I am reading - especially if I have earned some Amazon points.
