On the anniversary of Sandy Hook I skipped everything about it. I have become numbed and — well, I’ve become numbed.

After reading this, though, I am reassessing my daughter’s fierce determination to homeschool her kids. Yes, I still disagree with so much of what drives her. But now I can see the source of the bone-deep fear of what this society has become regarding guns and schools.
