4. just to add a counter to the naysayer anecdotes, I'm 59 with a family history of diabetes...

...and a lifelong stoner. I'm probably 40 or so lbs over what I consider my ideal mass, but have no apparent problems with insulin resistance or type II diabetes. Of course, I also don't have much of a sweet tooth and rarely eat sugary things, munchies or no.
