10. One of our now-departed cats, a pretty little Lynx point...

...Siamese, was a very tiny little thing as a kitten. I was looking for her one day, without success, and noticed her brother on one of the dining room chairs, staring intently at the juncture of the table top to the table base. I took a look and found his sister inside the table base. How she got in there, even as small as she was, was puzzling because the opening to that space was really small. Her brother's head was too big, or he'd have probably gone in there, too.

I'd never have thought to look there.
