Every single time I go to the refrigerator, she thinks (hopes!) I'm going to make a sandwich and she suddenly appears, out of nowhere, to sit and either meow piteously or look up at me with those big, sad, kitty eyes. She is so mistreated.

P.S. I've posted about this elsewhere; sorry to those who've already read about it.
