2. The first time I tried Nutella was in Germany, more than 30 years ago

I couldn't believe how good it was! I thought I'd never get it here in the states. I ate enough Nutella for a lifetime back in the early 90s. Little did I know that there were plans to export Nutella over to the US even then. It's been here for 2 generations and now kids who grew up on it are parents, giving it to their own kids.

So here's the thing with Nutella - it's got wa-a-a-ay too much hazelnut (filbert) flavor in it. Like by a factor of 10. Cut down on the hazelnut, add more chocolate or cocoa or something else. I've experimented mixing Nutella with American-style peanut butter and it's quite good!

Anything that reduces the intensity of hazelnuts will be great for American tastes. If they can do that, their ice cream, nut butter and other products will be very popular with American adults and their kids.
