2. Love Ottolenghi but not for a recently single person with not a lot of kitchen availability.

My go-to's in my new environment are Trader Joe's frozen dinners - especially the Indian ones, Amy's Mexican frozen dinners, sometimes Marie Calendars but they are pricier and seem to have more fat.

I had all of the Ottolenghi books as well as many other very classy ones (Ruth Reichl, Marcella Hazen, etc.). But my partner who owned our house decided that everything belonged to her. Fortunately much of the advice becomes ingrained and doesn't need a printed recipe once understood.
