2. Well, no need, really...

I'm just sort of curious.

Like with one part, about 13% that's supposedly "trace" ancestry. I'm just wondering if another company would be able to hone in better on that.

Although I also did get to wondering if these places all send their samples to the same lab, which wouldn't be much help either.

another thing I found out, which only adds more mystery to the whole thing...

I discovered that, just like multiple kids in a family can inherit genes for different things, like blue eyes or brown eyes (everyone in my nuclear family had/has dark hair and eyes except for me), the same thing can happen for ethnic DNA as well. That is, one child could get DNA matchup for, say, Scandinavia while another kid...same parents...might get none. Or so little it might not even count.

I'll try to find where I read that and post it.

And so that's why I'm wondering about different results from different places. Or different results for siblings, even.
