Seems like a lot of cancers come from some kind of exposure. I really cant think of anything like that, but it reminds me of something I was going to talk to the cancer doc when I saw her but forgot all about it. My sister was reading a book about cancers and ran across a reference to butchers warts. I worked in the meat industry for about 10 years. I was always getting cut. Back in my 20s I had a lot of warts that seemed to start at one of those scars and spread all over my hand. Apparently people with butchers warts often develop cancer. Ill have to remember to say something next time I see her.

What do you mean by fiddling with chemicals? Taking drugs? Or some hobby chemist?

When I did the research, pretty much every version of metformin ER was implicated

One thing to be cautious of in diabetes literature (the bulk of the metformin literature)

I'm so sorry to hear that. As you say at least she didn't suffer too much.
