2. I'm surprised he didn't try to get funding for conversion therapy for adoptive parents to use against LGBTQ+ children.

These people truly make me ill with their efforts to persecute children. LGBTQ+ kids already have one of the highest rates of suicide among young people. Forcing them into homes where adoptive parents could subject them to all kinds of “cures” from religious practices to beatings to psychological torture through conversion therapy is inhumane. Of course, Republicans think it’s inhumane and unacceptable for these kids even to exist.
