...as am I. These days you have to be a dreamer to believe in justice and universal human rights.

I would take it further and include reparations and limited right of return (being realistic) - things that at one time were on the table. And
accountability and deradicalization, demilitarization of both peoples. How could Palestinians ever be safe from the fully-armed Goliath next door while they are denied even the most modest self-defense? It's another Oct 7th followed by another genocide waiting to happen.

We both know that none of this, not the withdrawal or anything else is going to happen without a seismic shift in geopolitics and US and Israeli politics and society. Probably not in our lifetimes.

But an end to the occupation and recognition are worthy goals and a good start.
