One of the biggest markets must be the Philippines. I was a Peace Corps volunteer there many years ago and attended a few of these “competitions”. It’s a crazy wild loud event and gory. I only went because I was invited by my Filipino colleagues. I recall some of the competitors bragging their rooster came from Texas.
