3. Sad, but true story

A Dr. seeking to quell our anxiety over T****’s foreign policy, his assault on “Healthcare” (appointing RFK Jr. and Dr. Oz! cutting research funding) and his hastening of climate change, when we mentioned the possibility of WW III asked, “Do you read the Bible? Revelations tells us WW III is coming, but, the ‘Good News’ is, ‘God Wins!.’”

I replied, pretty much at the top of my lungs, that the Apocalypse of John (AKA "The Book of Revelations”) — if there’s any truth in it at all — is all about the Roman empire (esp. Nero) contemporary events & (according to Chapter 1, Verse 1) events “…which must soon take place…” (not about events which would take place 2,000 years in the future.)

So, Biblical plagues? Yeah, they’re all down with that.
