As for the text of the OP, let me remark, with some bitterness, as follows:

It's nice to hear from the antinukes over at DailyKos whining about the weather. I hold antinukes responsible for the destabilization of the planetary atmosphere.

I remember "FishOutofWater" who was very proud of his Ph.D. in Geology, even though he quit science to surf from what I recall. I remember his representations that Fukushima was the end of the world. He made some very stupid and ignorant statements about criticality in the reactors over there, apparently from a comic book level understanding of nuclear issues; I'm not sure that a love of surfing informs one about nuclear physics. I suspect he doesn't know shit about the chemistry and physics of carbon dioxide either.

I wouldn't call him an "expert," on weather, or much else, but that's just me. I obviously dislike the guy.

It would seem that the destabilization of the planetary atmosphere leading to extreme weather on the whole fucking planet is somewhat worse than Fukushima, but that too, is just me.

As for those to be affected; there are many innocents among them. I hope not too much is lost, since we don't have a government that gives a shit about human beings.

I have friends and family in Indiana, liberals all. It rains on the just and unjust alike.
