2. I lived in Louisiana in the '80s

So many people who've survived on the edge of disaster since it is was settled. Southern Louisiana and parts of Florida are the first places in the South that we'll lose to rising waters.

It's a crying shame that more LA residents don't prioritize it. It's a matter of decades before Grand Isle goes under for good. The Gulf will reclaim it.
