I remember playing the Maypole when i was a kid. We had some kind of celebration but I’m sure I was too young to understand. We were just having a fun time. Then we stopped..something about the Communists n Labor Unions. Never understood that until I became s proud union member. Maybe the haters realized it was a pagan holiday n quietly shoved it under the rug. The history is good to know n I enjoyed looking it up earlier... ty for keeping May Day alive.
