Google the hospital (or medical practices, clinics, etc) to learn who the mgmt., owner group is and look into them online. Dig deep since 'cover' entities are fairly common I think. And the AMA (Amer. Medical Assn.) but I think they have opposed universal health care, not sure about them.

- ProPublica does excellent reporting in the public interest. Their website has more feature type articles exposing particular cases of malfesance by corporations and other groups. I don't know if they have lists of bad actors. Public Citizen is another good group.
