10. Happy 4th, all of you. Here since 1620 with regular infusions of immigrants...

... including two "illegal" Irish sisters who survived a coffin ship and then lied their way across the border from Canada to the USA; the most recent infusion being my husband's family, survivors of the Holocaust who came here after WW II.

I love this country; my love has been tested by the likes of Baby Caligula, but this is my country.
