You need to speak the punctuation, however.

Seems to me there used to be something specifically for dictation, but now I can't find it. Maybe it disappeared when they introduced Siri.

Okay, it looks like you can ask Siri to dictate a note.

If you are on iOS 6, you have to enable dictation. If you are on iOS 7, it comes enabled. onehandle Sep 2013 #3
