7. We have a siamese cat. She will not catch mice. We had droppings in the drawer under the stove.

We have a vented microwave which may have been how it got in. Wr thought we had a major infestation. We put traps out and found it was only one lonely mouse. I read where most mice won't go in a house with a cat ....the smell or something.
