6. I'm going to switch out some cables

I have an office in the basement. I had an old Dell tower, which stopped connecting to the wireless network and going online. I switched it out with a newer old Dell tower, used the same cables. It connected to the wireless Internet. I saw a message in January that it would stop being supported 1/20/20. Upstairs, I am currently using an older Dell laptop that says the browser isn't supported, but it connects okay. I had my tablet downstairs yesterday and it had a good wireless Internet connection in my office. I tried a few things, but couldn't get the tower to connect.

I had it on a couple weeks ago, and it connected. There was a long list of wireless networks then, but when I turned it on last week, that list was gone. I think there was an update a couple weeks ago.

I think it might be the update, read that sometimes they can cause connection problems. It doesn't seem like it would be the cables, because the laptop I switched out worked for over 2 months when I used it. I'm spending the next few days getting a new laptop set up, and other tech chores. Happy Leap Day!
