getting out of my comprehension status, but some kind of device from the phone company. I don't know the printer model (I'm 20 miles away) but he said he had an instruction booklet for it somewhere and was going to work on it from that angle unless I found something easier. sounds more like we need to call the provider for more info/help. 24/7 tech help was included in his contract!
