They know their base is comprised of idiots. Drooling to hear what they want to believe. If you're smart enough to realize what they want to hear, you can be the Pied fucking Piper. It's that simple. And it's that fucking horrifying that there are not only those among us who believe this shit before it's said and with no proof, but that there are charlatans that recognize this and cultivate it.
