This decision against pill restriction was NOT on the merits of the case, but on the standing of states to sue to overrule the FDA.

They are NOT arguing that the pill is safe.

They want to prevent pro-choice states from suing to overrule FDA bans on this pill, contraception, abortion, etc. in the future.

Check out Jessica Valenti on this topic, and the failure of the media to explain what is really going on.
