The Texas DOGE committee will be chaired by House Rep. Giovanni Capriglione, R – Southlake, who’s served in the Texas House since 2013. The day after House Committee assignments were posted, Capriglione posted on his X account a meme referencing a quote from the movie “Dodgeball.”

“The 5 D’s of Doge: doge, discover, disrupt, deliver, doge. Members of the Texas House Committee on Delivery of Government Efficiency are already working hard and making plans to deliver!” Capriglione wrote.
