"Free car !" --- what could go wrong ?

2. Many moons ago, one of my friends ended up driving his car with a stiff in it.

This was late 60's. -- aged around 18. He was driving with a friend when friend sees three other acquaintances in front of the local ice cream parlor.

"Hey, stop, there's ..., ... and....."

Mike stops the car and the three of them get in the back seat. Mike drives along until one of the guys says to stop the car. Mike stops the car and three of them, including his friend in shotgun, quickly exit the car. Its Mike and the back seat passenger now riding alone, cruising... driving to nowhere. This was common in New Jersey in the 60's.

A few minutes later, the passenger, who is not participating in any conversation, falls over on the seat. Mike now realizes something might be amiss. He stops the care, opens the back door and realizes that .... is not breathing.

He drove around for some period of time, trying to figure out what to do. Finally, he drives to the emergency room, goes in and asks fo help.

There were no legal consequences to Mike from this episode.
