1. What a mess Bobby Jindal left Louisiana.

As usually happens the Republicans make a mess of things and the Democrats have to clean it up. Then when tough decisions have to be made people get mad and blame the Democrat. I like John Bel Edwards a lot. We need more red state Democrats like him. It is too bad that he has to deal with this mess.

Also, the situation in Louisiana and other states can be remedied by reinstating Federal revenue sharing. Revenue sharing was a policy of Richard Nixon's where the Feds would provide revenue to states and municipalities with the only condition being oversight to avoid corruption. This helped to keep states and municipalities solvent and funded much needed services. Of course being a good idea it was scrapped by Ronald Reagan in the 1980s.
