You said she wasn't even on the board when he was hired. Now it's that she was on the board, but not president.

The board caught him once embellishing his resume with a degree he didn't have. That should have been a red flag to look closely at the rest of his claims, yet they allowed him to change the one item and resubmit, with apparently no deeper reviews.

The board is looking like fools over hiring someone who falsified their resume, had no legal status, and had a loaded handgun in a city owned vehicle. Either they were willfully negligent in their duties, incompetent, or duped. None of which reflects very positively for them.
