Tourism will remain on the downswing as foreigners stay away while Trump is in office which will lead to reduced revenue from hotel and sales taxes. These property tax bills will pass which will further reduce tax revenue. The immigration crackdown will decimate the state’s agricultural, health care and construction industries. A bright flight is likely soon to occur, if it is not already happening, as higher educated residents flee to saner pastures taking their productivity and high incomes with them. The insurance market continues to cripple the state and the non-existent hurricane threat this year won’t stay that way forever.

Good luck to any DUers in Florida as you’re going to need it.
