Martin County Fire Rescue responded to a fiery collision Thursday when a semi truck crashed into an Amtrak train with more than 70 passengers and 14 crew members on board.

Two people aboard the passenger train suffered minor injuries and there were no fatalities reported as of Thursday afternoon.

The two people in the truck refused treatment and the flames from the crash did not spread to the train or train tracks, Martin County Fire Rescue spokesperson Cory Pippin told TCPalm.

Here’s where and when the Amtrak-semi crash was and how it will affect Amtrak’s arrival times today.
