3. Lots of Power Meters Are Remote Control

I used to work at a power utility. Years ago, we replaced all of the old mechanical meters with digital ones. In high-traffic places like apartments we put in meters that can be turned off and on remotely. No person has to visit to pull the meter like in olden days. If they have these types of meters in businesses in LA, it's pretty easy to shut off the power. If not, the utility workers won't mind the overtime.
