2. I've read opinions that rate the 6 better than the 7.

The lack of glass was a consideration for me, and the non standard shoe for the 3 and 5 drove me to M4/3. Now I'm sporting a lot of M4/3 glass. Of all of them, the Sigma 30mm has been my favorite. Good glass for the money.
