7. Okay. As a straight female, I see Burt Reynolds as the smokin' one in that film.

But I know what you mean about movie star crushes informing you of what you like. For me that was a fellow poli sci major at my university who looked a lot like a finer-boned Robert Redford, with more reddish hair (Irish-American, first name Patrick). And to a lesser extent a California-raised, surf-loving photographer I met in NYC later who may or may not have ever gone barefoot in Central Park, but did walk barefoot up Fifth Avenue one day when his new shoes were bothering him -- barefoot and wearing a thousand dollar suit. I was stupid enough to leave him and fall for someone else (another blond guy, that one of Scots descent) who turned out to be a disaster (he'd reminded me of some paintings of Elizabethan courtiers, especially the Hilliard portrait of Raleigh, but he thought of himself more as a mountain man, and one with drug and alcohol problems).

Finding someone who reminds you of a movie star crush doesn't guarantee true love and a relationship working out, but I'm glad it did for you.
