4. Well, They Ruined MTV Live....

Sunday

...here in the states.
Formerly called Palladia, it was a 24 hour a day live music channel.
They rebranded it MTV Live and in a short amount of time, started running music videos instead of live concerts half the day.
Now, there are no concerts on MTV Live all weekend. They run videos which is the opposite of "live".
I used to watch it all the time; now only rarely.
The live stuff also is hyper targeting people mid 30s and under. There are never any 70s, 80s, or 90s bands one there.
I can't see how running videos is any cheaper than running prerecorded concerts they didn't produce in the first place, so I'm not seeing why they made the changes.
Bur, it ruined the channel for me.
I guess they figured they could ruin things for British viewers, too.
