Covered this in a band I was in '82 to '86. We got together around the time they exploded internationally, so we did "Hungry Like..." & "Rio". When those went over big, we went backwards to this & "Girls On Film".
I always thought DD was bigger & longer lasting because they remembered that rock wasn't about synths. The guitars were still the driver & the synths added depth & flavor. It was the mix of the 2 that made them unique. Kind of like The Cars.
