And I don't suggest that dismissively. But while you don't want to burden your wife, you could invite her to join you for a nature walk and give your body a peaceful way to help process your emotions. I'm struggling with the most traumatic experience of my life right now, and whenever I feel overloaded or stuck mentally or emotionally, a walk always helps.
